I just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with Mark McNitt and his outstanding, above and beyond help, with selling our house. We’ve known Mark for a long time now and he is always our go-to guy for buying and selling. I only wish he were here in Brisbane, Australia to help us. Sadly though the way houses are bought and sold here is VERY different … it’s a seller’s market… but if you’d like to send Mark out to Australia to help us with the search for a new home that would be wonderful!
Dealing with us moving overseas before the sale of the house was a challenge for Mark but he always had a positive attitude. There were many maintenance issues that cropped up after we left the country but he stepped up to the plate and handle them all beautifully. He painted the garage, forwarded our mail, disassembled the hammock frame, called out the air-con people, replaced the closet lights and many, many other odd jobs. He was our liaison with the pool company and also our lawn service. Trying to make calls from Australia during U.S business hours is not easy, and so Mark took care of it all for us. I doubt many other realtors would have done the same. He really is amazing, but I’m sure you know that.
We’ve moved internationally almost a dozen times and never has the process of buying and selling a house been easier than our times in Houston and working with Mark. I’m a bit surprised he still has hair on top of his head after dealing with us so many times! At this point in time we don’t plan to move back to Houston but never say never. If fate takes us back that way again we will certainly be in touch with Mark. In fact, I’m sure we will keep in touch with him regardless – he’s a part of the family now.
