Bridgeland Homes For Sale

Bridgeland homes for sale in 2015 reported in the $225,000 to the $1 million dollar range.  Values have steadily increased as Bridgeland brings in more builders and more villages are added!   Villages already completed include The Shores, First Bend, The Cove and Water Haven each featuring unique amenities such as 100 acre lakes, parks with pavilions and BBQ grills, a 18-hole disc golf course and athletic fields.   The two newest communities include Lakeland Heights and Hidden Creek.  Lakeland Heights will feature builders David Weekly Homes, Perry Homes and J.Kyle building craftsman style homes from an era gone by, smaller yards and easy maintenance exteriors.  Hidden Creek will be larger village and have a more traditional feel with new lakes and a unique Tree House park for the children.  Prices will range from $300,000 to over $1 million and include builders such as Beazer Homes, Darling Homes, Meritage Homes, Taylor Morrison Homes and Village Builders all building new construction homes with the latest designs and energy saving features.  Custom homes in private gated sections are also scattered throughout the area.

Three different school districts will eventually service the massive Bridgeland community.  In the future, Katy and Waller school districts will have schools in the area.  For now, the Cypress-Fairbanks school district features K-12 grades in a school complex directly across from the Bridgeland’s main entrance off of Fry Road.  Pope Elementary, Smith Middle and Cy-Ranch High Schools have all recently been built and are highly ranked.  Additional schools are planned and will be built as each village expands.

Bridgeland has always been focused on conservation and bringing mother nature closer to the community.  On the edge of the Katie prairie, the first phases of Bridgeland featured Lake Bridgeland and a 400 acre Cypress Lake on the north side of the neighborhood.  Not only to help the area look beautiful and maintain the old growth trees, but to help control flooding and naturally filter the water as it passes.  Even the Grand Parkway was elevated in large section to allow easy flow of water through the area.  When completed, Bridgeland will feature over 900 acres of water ways, many stocked with fish for catch-and-release and to be used by non-motorized boats.  Other amenities in Bridgeland include the Lakeland Activity Center that features a 6,000 sqft meeting center.  Multiple pools, parks, miles of trails, concert pavilions and more are scattered throughout Bridgeland.  And when looking at Bridgeland homes for sale, don’t forget the seasonal festivals planned for the residence including Naturefest, Howl-O-Ween Fest as well as monthly Farmers Market.

Beginning in 2006, Bridgeland has been developed by The Howard Hughes Corporation.  The same company that has overseen the creation of The Woodland’s Market Street entertainment, dining and shopping destination in The Woodlands mall area.  A future Town Center modeled after that Market Street will be located along The Grand Parkway to give that same destination experience to those in Bridgeland and northwest Harris County.   Other shopping options are close by including the Houston Premium Outlet Mall and multiple restaurants along Highway 290 including Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen and D’Vine Wine Bar just to mention a few.  All of this careful planning has garnered Bridgeland hundreds of awards in the real estate community including was the 2015 ‘Community of the Year’ by the Texas Association of Builders.
